지난번에 포스팅했던 Burn에 이어 또 한번 포스팅하는 엘리 굴딩의 노래.

그녀의 3번째 스튜디오 앨범인 Delirium의 트랙이다.

필자는 이 앨범에 수록곡 중에서 9번 트랙을 제일 좋아하지만

On My Mind 역시 이 앨범에서 필자가 정말정말 아끼는 곡이다.

장르는 일렉트로 팝[ElectroPop]인데 R&B로 분류되기도 한다.

필자가 이 노래를 처음 들었을 때 부터 마음에 들어했던 부분은

전반적으로 트랩/퓨처 베이스같은 사운드였다.

특히 하이라이트 구간에서 나오는 퓨처 베이스 스타일의 사운드는

엘리 굴딩의 노랫소리와 함께 중독성 있는 후크를 자랑하게 된다.

그래서 처음에는 이 노래가 퓨처 베이스인가?하고 잘못 착각하기도 했다.

물론 지금의 필자로써는 쳐다보기도 싫은 장르가 '트랩/퓨처 베이스'지만

개인적으로 요즘 퓨베씬에서 나오는 노래들보단 확실히 괜찮다고 생각하는 곡이다.
