컨트리의 여왕에서 팝의 여왕으로 돌아온 테일러 스위프트.

뭐 어차피 4집 부터 팝으로 전향했던 그녀이긴 하지만 이렇게 충격적인 곡을 들고 오다니..

어쨌든 충격적인 싱글을 들고 컴백한 테일러. 장르는 댄스 팝, 또는 일렉트로 팝인 것 같다.

참고로 팬들은 이미 아는 사실이겠지만 오는 11월 10일, 그녀의 6번째 정규 앨범이 발매되는데

2014년에 나왔던 '1989'에 이어 거의 3년만에 신보를 발매하게 된다.

신보의 이름은 "reputation". 이 노래는 신 앨범의 수록될 예정이라고 한다.

말이 많은 가수지만 그녀의 좋은 면을 사랑하는 필자로서는 정말 기대되는 부분이다.

단순한 비트에 어두운 분위기가 압권. 개인적으로 노래 자체는 괜찮은데

사실 이런 스타일보다는 차라리 Shake It Off 같은 밝은 노래를 기대했었다.

어차피 옛날 컨트리로 돌아가기엔 너무 많은 길을 걸어왔기 때문에 그러려니 하지만

Shake If Off나 Blank Space같은 노래를 원했던 필자로서 이번 신곡은 참 아쉬움이 많다.

게다가 2:50초부터 나오는 가사를 들어보면 팬으로서 정말 충격적..

"I'm sorry, the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, 'cause she's dead!"

"미안하지만 옛날 테일러는 전화를 받을 수 없어. 왜냐고? 걔 죽었거든."

앞서 말했듯이 필자는 테일러의 좋은 면을 사랑하는 팬이다.

그녀가 논란이 많은 만큼 기부도 많이 하고 여러가지 미담도 있는 편이라서 그런 면을 좋아하고 있는데

그런 그녀에게 바라는 점은 Blank Space같은 스타일의 노래가 다시 나왔으면 좋겠다.

컨트리는 바라지도 않으니 제발 블랭크 스페이스같은 명곡 좀 뽑아주세요 흑흑..
