아메리칸 래퍼/싱어송라이터이자 클럽 힙합의 강자.

플로 라이다의 전설적인 명곡이자 영화 '스텝업 3'에 삽입된 수록곡이다.

프랑스 출신의 일렉트로니카 DJ '다비드 게타'와 함께한 갓음악.

필자는 스텝업 영화를 본 적이 없고, 스텝업 시리즈 자체를 모르지만

OST는 몇몇개 알고 있다. 그 중에서 가장 좋아하는 OST는 바로 이 노래.

중독성 강한 멜로디와 신나는 비트가 합쳐진 깔쌈한 일렉트로팝.

힙 하우스(HipHop + House)가 더 정확하지만 필자는 그냥 일렉트로팝으로 분류하겠다.

이 노래가 2010년도에 나왔는데 그때 당시 필자는 이제 막 팝송에 관심을 가질 시기였다.

그때 필자는 고작 중학교 1학년.

이 노래만 들으면 옛날 시절이 생각나서 눈물이 찔끔 흘릴 정도다. ㅠㅠ

그때 당시에는 노래가 신나서 많이 들었지만 노래 자체는 그렇게 좋다고 느끼질 않았다.

하지만 세월이 지나고 성인이 되고 나서야 "명곡"이었다는 걸 깨달을 수 있었다.

필자는 힙합을 그다지 좋아하지 않지만 이 노래는 힙합과 하우스가 적절하게 섞여져있다.

게다가 플로 라이다의 찰진 랩핑과 만나 더욱 신나는 힙합 하우스가 만들어졌다.

나온지 7년이나 지났음에도 불구하고 전혀 촌스럽지 않은 음악.

옛날 노래지만 힙합을 좋아한다면, 멜로디가 많은 클럽 음악을 좋아한다면 꼭 추천해주고 싶다.
