며칠 전 2집 스튜디오 앨범이 공개되어 화제가 된 갈란티스.

2집에 수록된 트랙이자 호주 DJ, Throttle이 함께한 신곡이다.

이번 갈란티스 신보는 주관적으로 1집에 비하면 많이 별로라고 생각하지만

그래도 신곡들 중에 마음에 드는게 몇몇개는 있어서 괜찮다.

물론 여전히 마음 속 한켠에 아쉬움을 남는 앨범.

Throttle과 콜라보한 음악의 장르는 댄스 팝(Dance Pop)이다.

팝과 EDM을 적절히 섞은, 하지만 팝의 비중이 더 많은 스타일.

가볍게 들으면 좋지만 곡에서 뭔가 부족한 느낌이 들고 있다.

필자가 너무 옛날 갈란티스를 집착하는 걸까?

이런 곡을 들을 때마다 파워풀했던 갈란티스의 옛 노래들이 문득 그리워진다.
