영국의 인디 팝(Indie Pop) 밴드, Bastille의 Blame을 리믹스하였다.

다른 리믹스들이 수록된 Blame (Remixes) 앨범의 트랙.

갠적으로 이 앨범에서는 제일 리믹스가 잘된 노래라고 생각한다.

원곡은 바스틸의 2집 앨범 Wild World에 수록되었다.

오리지널 장르는 '얼터너티브/인디 록'이지만

리믹스된 버전은 일렉트로닉 뮤직으로 변신하였으며

장르가 퓨처 하우스(Future House)라는 점이 가장 눈에 띄는 점이다.

필자는 바스틸의 노래를 즐겨듣고, 또 원곡을 좋아하기도 하지만

록 장르였던 노래를 이렇게 색다른 스타일로 바꾸니 되게 신기하다는 생각이 든다.

더군다나 원곡은 말 그대로 베이스와 드럼이 Rock & Roll같은 느낌이지만

리믹스 버전은 비트가 빠르고 사운드가 세련된 스타일로 바뀌었다.

리믹스가 좀 더 신나긴 하지만 원곡이든 리믹스든 둘 다 갓명곡인건 확실하다.

리믹스한 사람은 호주 시드니 출신의 Dave Winnel이라는 프로듀서.

참고로 이 사람이 리믹스한 노래들 중에

Stressed Out이라는 곡이 있다. (원곡은 Twenty One Pilots)
