노르웨이 DJ Kygo의 또 다른 신곡, 이번에는 Wrabel이 피처링 했다.

장르는 트로피컬 하우스보다 '하우스'에 더 가까워보이지만

트로피컬한 느낌도 있고 해서 그냥 트로피컬 하우스로 분류하겠다.

2016년에 발매한 Cloud Nine에 이은 정규 2집, Kids In Love의 수록곡.

솔직히 듣자마자 처음에는 마우 많이 실망했다.

'카이고'라는 이름값이 강력해서인지 그에 못미치는 퀄리티라고 느꼈기 때문.

그나마 Wrabel의 달달한 목소리가 하드캐리를 하는 듯 하지만

개인적으로 보컬만 좋은 음악이라고 생각한다.

필자가 이 곡을 포스팅하는 이유도 단지 보컬의 음색이 좋아서일 뿐

노래 자체가 그렇게 좋다는 뜻은 아니다.

유튜브에 공개된 다른 트랙들을 들어봐도 필자에겐 그저그런 느낌.

Sunrise가 그나마 어느정도 귀에 박히지만 이번 신보는 전체적으로 아쉬움의 한숨이 나온다.

1집에 비하면 노래가 더욱 단순해진 느낌? 사실 1집도 그다지 마음에 들진 않은데

그래도 Firestone, For What It's Worth같은 좋은 곡이 수록되어 있다.

하지만 이번 2집은... 사람마다 취향이 다르지만 필자한테는 별로.
