Stargazing EP 이후 또 다른 앨범을 준비하고 있는 Kygo의 신곡이다.

며칠 전에 공개된 Kids in Love를 이어 점점 수록곡들을 하나하나씩 공개하는 모습.

이번 신보에 수록될 Sunrise는 Jason Walker라는 미국 싱어송라이터와 함께했다고 한다.

장르는 트로피컬 하우스(Tropical House)인 듯?

Sunrise 이외에도 다른 신곡들도 같이 들어봤는데 개인적으로 이 곡이 그나마 괜찮다.

편안한 트로피컬 신스와 그럭저럭 준수한 보컬의 음색은 물론

중간중간에 들어가있는 현악기 사운드가 귀를 적절히 자극시켜준다.

같이 공개된 Never let you go, Riding shotgun은 솔직히..;

필자의 취향으로 봤을 때는 영 아닌 것 같고, Kids in Love는 그냥 평범한 수준이다.

이번에 나올 카이고 앨범은 정규 앨범이라는 소식이 있는데

일단 지금까지 공개된 카이고의 트랙 중에서는 Sunrise가 제일 낫다.

쓸데없는 걱정일 수도 있겠지만 개인적으로 이번 신보는 살짝 불안불안...
