캐나다 가수이자 전세계에서 영향력있는 아티스트 중 하나, Justin Bieber.

4집 앨범으로 이미지 변신을 멋지게 했던 그의 최근 신곡이다.

미국의 일렉트로니카 프로듀서 BloodPop과 함께한 환상적인 콜라보.

몇달 전에 나왔던 신곡인데 필자는 최근에서야 노래를 듣게 되었다.

저스틴 비버가 예전에는 안 그랬지만 목소리가 참 많이 부드러워졌다.

특유의 앵앵거리는 목소리가 인상적이었던 옛날의 비버와는 다르게

마치 깃털처럼 부드럽지만 가볍지 않은, 그런 음색이 참 마음에 든다.

비버의 음색이 EDM/일렉트로닉 장르와 잘 어울린다는 평이 많은데

이는 저스틴 비버가 이때까지 피처링했던 일렉트로닉 곡을 들어보면 이해가 빠를 것이다.

Where Are U Now, Let Me Love You, Cold Water, 2U 등등...

개인적으로 이번 Friends라는 신곡은 살짝 아쉬운 느낌이 들기도 한다.

위에 명시된 노래들만 봐도 워낙 파급력이 커서.. 이번 신곡은 그냥 평범.

곡 자체는 별로지만 비버의 음색이 참 깔끔하고 듣기 좋아서 그럭저럭 마음에 든다.
