미국의 일렉트로니카 듀오가 리믹스한 체인스모커스의 Paris.

2월달에 발매했었던 Paris (Remixes) 앨범에 수록되어 있는 트랙이다.

여기서 눈에 띄는건 원래부터 장르가 팝(Pop)이었던 원곡에 비해

리믹스 버전은 퓨처 베이스(Future Bass)라는 점.

기존 원곡은 일렉 음악이라고 보기 힘들 정도로 팝적인 성향이 강해서

처음 곡이 릴리즈되었을 당시에는 외국에서 그리 좋은 평가를 받지 못했었다.

필자 역시 원곡을 좋아하진 않았었는데

리믹스 버전은 퓨처 베이스의 몽환적인 사운드를 이용해

기존 곡보다 더욱 세련된 모습으로 멋지게 탈바꿈하였다.

개인적으로는 체인스모커스의 원곡보다 훠어얼씬 괜찮다고 생각한다.
