네덜란드 DJ 아프로잭 / 프랑스 DJ 데이비드 게타의 콜라보.

피처링은 미국의 싱어송라이터이자 배우인 이스터 딘이 맡았다고 한다.

곡의 장르는 퓨처 베이스(Future Bass).

드랍의 신명나는 비트와 보컬의 조화를 엿볼 수 있다.

한달 전에 UMF에서 ID(미공개곡)로 살짝 공개된 적이 있었는데

그때 당시 개인적으로는 그렇게 좋아하지 않았다.

왜냐하면 노래가 '퓨처 베이스'라서.

ID가 공개된 후 이미 오래전부터 신곡을 기대하지 않았던 필자였지만

막상 노래가 정식으로 나와보니

그렇게 못 들어줄 정도의 퀄리티는 아닌 것 같다.

퓨처 베이스하면 가장 먼저 떠오르는게 바로 트랩 스타일의 비트.

이 비트가 드랍에서 정말 큰 포텐을 터뜨려주고 있다.

덤으로 영롱한 사운드와 함께 에스터 딘의 소울 가득한 목소리는

들으면 들을수록 귀가 황홀해지는 기분.

필자가 그렇게 지겨워하던 퓨처 베이스가 아닌

깊은 사운드가 느껴지는 퓨처 베이스였던 것이다.

'퓨처 베이스'는 이미 일렉씬에서 밥먹듯이 자주 나오고 있지만

역시 거물급 DJ들이라 그런지 퀄리티가 보통 퓨베하고는 차원이 다르다.

물론 리스너들의 반응은 살짝 호불호가 갈리고 있긴 하나

기존의 퓨처 베이스라는 장르를 두 DJ들이 재해석하여 만들어졌다는 점에서

수많은 리스너들에게 관심을 받고 있는 중이다.

퓨베는 질색하는 필자도 이번 신곡은 꽤 좋은 듯ㅋㅋ
