한 몇주 전인가? Taylor Swift 유튜브 채널에 공개되었다.
그것은 바로 ...Ready For It의 리믹스 버전.
테일러의 신곡을 미국 일렉트로니카 프로듀서인 BloodPop이 리믹스했다고 한다.
리믹스 버전의 장르는 다들 알겠지만 퓨처 베이스.

올해 8월달, 뜨또와 콜라보했던 'Friends'에 너무 감명받았던 걸까..
분위기있는 일렉트로팝 스타일을 원했던 입장에서는
이번에 나온 리믹스 곡을 듣고 실망감이 하늘을 찌를 수 밖에 없었다.
솔직한 평을 말해보자면 흔해 빠진 퓨처 베이스 전개라서 매우 실망스럽다.
자꾸 들어보니 의외의 중독성은 살짝 느껴지지만
그래도 이런 스타일의 퓨베는 이젠 지겹..

유튜브나 해외 평들은 원곡보다 좋다는 반응이 많은데
솔직히 필자는 이런 해외 반응이 잘 이해가 가지 않는다.
개인적인 느낌으로는 그냥 양산형 퓨처 베이스 그 이상 그 이하라서..
그냥 원곡이나 계속 들어야겠다.
