미국의 하우스/덥스텝 프로듀서, Seven Lions와

여성 보컬 Skyler Stonestreet의 멜로딕 덥스텝(Melodic Dubstep) 음악.

참고로 이 장르에 대해 설명하자면 기존의 거칠고 시끄러운 덥스텝에서

거친 느낌을 최소화하고 선율적인 요소를 넣은 장르라고 할 수 있다.

그러니까 단순하게 말하자면 '몽환적인 덥스텝'.

신비롭고 몽환적인 느낌의 덥스텝이라는 것 때문에

유튜브같은 곳에서는 칠스텝(Chillstep)과 같이 묶어서 보는 경우도 종종 있다.

다만 두 장르가 완전히 같다고는 보기 힘들고

그냥 성질이 많이 비슷한 장르들이라고 생각하면 된다.

이 음악도 들어보면 다름 무엇보다 몽환적인 분위기가 제일 돋보이고 있는데

개인적으로 보컬이 노래 분위기를 잘 잡아주고 있다고 생각한다.

만약 보컬이 정말 감미롭게 노래를 부르지 않았더라면

곡 자체가 많이 식상한 느낌이 들었을 것이다.

청량한 사운드와 감성이 물들어있는 보컬의 목소리가 만나

신비로운 분위기를 자랑하는 멜로딕 덥스텝.

'황홀하다'는 느낌이 어떤 건지를 잘 보여주는 음악이다.
