미국의 DJ 듀오인 Grey와 보컬 Skott가 함께한 Crime의 리믹스 버전이다.
Might Not과 Kuur, 각각 과테말라/미국의 음악 프로듀서들이 리믹싱했다.
원곡이나 리믹스 곡이나 둘 다 퓨처 베이스라는 점은 변함없지만
원곡은 좀 더 감성적이고, 부드러운 기타 소리가 인상적인 반면
리믹스는 멜로디 라인에 좀 더 치중되어 있는 걸 알 수 있다.
참고로 원곡은 몇개월 전에 필자가 포스팅했던 적이 있었다.
그 때 당시는 원곡을 그렇게 좋아하는 편은 아니었는데
이렇게 원곡과 리믹스 곡을 비교해서 들어보니 원곡이 더 괜찮아보이는 이유는 뭘까?
리믹스 버전이 별로라는 말은 아니지만 뭔가 원곡이 좀 더 깊은 사운드가 느껴진다.
리믹스 곡은 멜로디와 더불어 드랍의 몽환적인 사운드가 마음에 들지만
개인적으로는 원곡이 좀 더 '감성적인 퓨처 베이스'라고 생각한다.
