호주 출신의 싱어송라이터 겸 프로듀서로 활동하는 Vassy의 싱글 음악.
Afrojack과 Oliver Rosa, 두 명의 네덜란드 DJ와 함께 작업했으며
아민 반 뷰렌의 레이블로 유명한 Armada Music에서 발매되었다고 한다.
장르는 당연한 말이지만 퓨처 하우스(Future House).
개인적으로 최근에 들었던 퓨하 곡 중에서 제일 좋았다고 말하고 싶다.
퓨처 하우스의 수 많은 특징 중 하나인 건반 사운드 드랍이 돋보이지만
필자는 그보다도 보컬의 가창력이 제일 먼저 눈에 띈다.
특히 빌드업 구간은 정말 소름이 돋을 정도로 Vassy의 폭발하는 목소리가 인상적이었다.
곡 자체도 괜찮았지만 보컬은 그보다 더 뛰어난 퓨처 하우스 음악.
여담으로 하나 말하자면 필자는 원래 아프로잭을 그다지 좋아하지 않았다.
그래서 이번 신곡은 별로 기대하지 않고 들었는데
아프로잭이 퓨처 하우스를 프로듀싱한 것도 놀랍긴 하지만
이번 신곡은 정말 의외의 퀄리티 때문에 개인적으로 놀라웠다.
아프로잭 노래는 취향이 아니지만 이번 신곡은 솔직히 인정해주고 싶다.
