일렉트로닉 프로듀서 겸 DJ로 활동하고 있는 일레니엄의 최신곡.

아는 사람들만 알겠지만 그의 두번째 스튜디보 앨범인 Awake가 9월 21일에 발매되었다.

그 전까지는 수록곡만 하나하나씩 공개했었지만 이제는 전 트랙이 다 풀린 상태.

2집 앨범의 수록곡 중 하나인 Leaving은 퓨처 베이스의 성향을 띠고 있다.

요새 퓨베를 잘 안듣긴 하지만 이 사람이 만드는 퓨베는 달라도 뭐가 다르다.

칠하면서도 감성적인, 일레니엄만의 특유한 사운드가 나타나고 있는데

필자는 그보다도 보컬의 피처링을 더욱 인상적으로 여긴다.

참고로 피처링 가수는 안나와있지만

'EDEN'이라는 언더그라운드 가수가 이 노래에 나오는 목소리의 주인공이다.

부드럽지만 단단한, 가볍지만 무거운, 오묘한 목소리가 인상적이라서

개인적으로 애정하고 있는 싱어송라이터이기도 하다 ㅎㅎ

몽환적인 사운드와 더 몽환적인 목소리가 만나 전정한 신비로움을 느낄 수 있는 노래.

개인적으로 일레니엄의 사운드보다 에덴의 감미로운 목소리가 더 좋았던 음악이다.
