미국의 DJ 듀오 Tritonal이 색다르게 리믹스한 Honset.

체인스모커스 1집 앨범의 수록곡 'Honest'를 리믹스한 음악이다.

이 리믹스 곡은 4월 8일에 발매한 Honest (Remixes) 앨범에 수록되었다.

리믹스 버전은 기본적으로 프로그레시브 하우스라는 틀에 맞췄지만

드랍에서 '퓨처 베이스'를 어느정도 차용한 모양이다.

몇가지 장르가 섞여서 노래가 조금 어지럽기도 하지만 나름 신선하다.

필자가 몇달 전에 포스팅한 Morello Twins 버전과 같이

아주 대놓고 팝송이었던 원곡을 그나마 EDM스럽게 바꿨다.

이에 대해서는 만족할 부분이지만 그렇다고 노래가 그렇게 확 꽂히지는 않는다.

차라리 필자한테는 Morello Twins의 리믹스이 더 낫다고 생각.

Morello Twins가 리믹스한 버전은 '퓨처 하우스'라는 틀에 맞게 노래를 재해석해서 좋았는데

개인적으로 트라이토널이 리믹스한 버전은 독특하기만 할 뿐 영 별로인 것 같다.

전반적으로 들었을 때 리믹스 버전이 원곡보다는 독특함이 많지만

그래도 필자한테는 Morello Twins의 리믹스가 더 괜찮은 것 같다.
