미국의 DJ 듀오 체인스모커스와 보컬 Daya의 만남.

빌보드 3위를 기록한 줄담배들의 전설적인 명곡이다.

장르는 트랩(Trap)인데 더 정확하게는 트랩 팝(Trap Pop)이라고 한다.

하긴 노래가 워낙 팝스러워서...ㅋㅋ

2016년, 이 노래가 처음 나왔을 당시에는

필자가 좋아했던 트랩 스타일이 아니라서 별로라고 생각했지만

하이라이트의 미묘한 트랩 비트가 왠지 모르게 귀에 쏙쏙 잘 박힌다.

Daya의 쫀득한 목소리와 함께 강한 비트의 조화가 인상적인 음악.

개인적으로 뮤직비디오는 대체 뭘 뜻하는건지 모르겠다.

노래 자체는 진지한데 뮤직비디오가 그 진지한 분위기를 깨는 것 같다.

노래 분위기에 심취하고 싶다면 뮤비는 보지말고 그냥 오디오로 듣자.
