지난 7월달에 발매한 'High On Life'에 이은 두번째로 만난 Martin Garrix와 Bonn의 신곡.
이번 신곡인 No Sleep도 당연히 프로그레시브 하우스일 줄 알았는데
들어보면 알겠지만 보통 일반적인 프로그에 비해 그렇게 신나는 느낌이 없다.
대신 현악기 사운드를 추가해 서정적인 분위기가 추가된 것이 포인트.

'High On Life'와 비교해보면 뭔가 비슷하면서도 달라보인다.
같은 장르에 같은 프로듀서, 같은 보컬이라 얼추 비슷하긴 하지만
High On Life가 좀 더 프로그 하우스답고 No Sleep은 약간 서정적인 멜로디가 특징이다.
주관적으론 하이 온 라이프의 멜로디를 더 좋아해서 이번 신곡은 그냥저냥..
요즘 마틴이 뽑는 하우스는 못해도 평타는 치는 수준이었는데
솔직히 이번 신곡은 개인적으로 기대 이하였던...
